At the end of each meal, guests were offered a keepsake: a small crock of Herbes de Provence blended by owner Louis Lombard, who was the first to include lavender flowers in the now-classic mix. That heartfelt gesture inspired the creation of an entire line of specialty foods packaged in charming clay and stoneware pots.
